I'm Always Behind You
Mobile apps now collect increasingly detailed personal location data in order to construct user profiles with greater precision in the era of big data. In response, I use a simple positioning device to read the current latitude and longitude, calculate the antipodal point of the current location, and synchronize this virtual location to the phone. The phone is therefore positioned at the other end of the Earth, forming an absurd confrontation with big-data algorithms.
The image section shows the coordinates and corresponding times of all the cities I have visited. After antipodal calculation, these data are sent to user-profiling and criminal-investigation reasoning programs to generate the final profile report: the protagonist is ultimately identified as a male citizen from Santiago, Chile, engaged in environmental science exploration.

如今终端APP越来越细致地获取个人的详细定位，以求在大数据时代下更细致地构建用户画像。基于此，我使用简易的定位设备，使其读取当前的经纬度信息，并通过计算得到当前位置的对称点，并使用虚拟定位同步到手机，使得当前手机上的定位处于地球的另一端⸺以此形成与大数据算法之间的荒谬对抗。
影像部分展示了我去过所有城市的坐标点和相应时间，这些数据经过对称点计算之后，交由用户画像和刑侦推理程序，生成最终的画像报告⸺主角被最终确定为一个从事环境科学勘探的智利圣地亚哥男性公民。
