Eternity Not Eternal Enough
The work focuses on the service life of chips implanted in the human body. It tells the story of a stubborn soliloquy by a cyborg human, an intelligent chip wandering alone through a neural forest in search of a connection point, and a calm, rational artificial-intelligence experimental assistant that continuously prints experimental reports.
Cyborg humans conduct daily material tests in an attempt to achieve the permanence of implant materials within the human body. After the artificial intelligence repeatedly provides experimental conclusions in an icy tone, the protagonist unexpectedly discovers that the collagen capsule formed by the human body perfectly encapsulates the intelligent chip. The body's own immune protection turns the enhanced chip into an eternal node within the body. Technology always pursues eternity, but the eternity we truly need may only be the eternity that can be reached within a lifetime. When technology has developed to a certain point, perhaps we need to return to the original capacities of the human body in order to achieve another technological breakthrough.
